Revised Flood Hazard Area Regulations May 2016

These were signed (adopted) by Commissioner Martin on April 28, filed with the office of Administrative Law Office on May 2, and scheduled at this time to be published in the June 20, 2016 New Jersey Register. Since regulations of this type are not effective until they are published in the New Jersey Register, theoretically, pending applications that are decided prior to June 20 should be decided under the existing rules. It is our understanding, however, the DEP may be deciding certain applications under the adopted rules.
